Relay For Life – Team Finding Hope

Finding Hope

“Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.”

Relay For Life is something my hometown has participated in for many years. It’s something I’m passionate about and I try my best to participate each year. I know many people that have been affected by cancer, and it can be a heart-breaking thing to endure, and from multiple sides of the disease.

I’ve been a part of several different RFL Teams, depending on where I was working at the time. Now that I am self-employed as a writer, I have decided to create my own RFL Team – FINDING HOPE.

HOPE is what Relay For Life provides for cancer victims. HOPE is what is given by those behind Relay For Life. HOPE is sometimes all someone has. Therefore, I thought this name was most fitting.

My next Relay For Life event is coming up in May, so the fundraising starts now. You will find a donate button at the bottom of this page. If you are able to, please do your part in the fight against cancer. I know that together, we WILL make a difference. Together, we WILL provide hope.

If you would like to follow along with my Team, you can visit our page. You can even join us virtually. I’d love to have your name on my Team list.

Thank you for helping Team FINDING HOPE take a stand.

  1. Hi Marlena, I listened to you and John on Blog Talk Radio. I missed the live feed, but was able to listen to the recording. I would like to donate my book for the cause. How do I do that? Loved the interview and love your southern belle voice! Looking forward to Power of Love.
