I have two great books to share with you. Two more jewels from the local library. Both of which I read within a day or two.
There You’ll Find Me by Jenny B. Jones. This is the second book I have read of hers and it takes one of the side characters from the first one, and you walk with her on her own journey. In Ireland, of all places. That’s my favorite part of this book. All the wonderful things about Ireland, Abbeyglen to be specific. I plan to go there one day, especially now after reading this! To be honest, I could talk quite a bit about this story but I certainly don’t want to ruin it. In short, it’s about Finley, an eighteen year old who tragically lost her older brother and is using his travel journal to find herself. Boy, does she struggle! She struggles with the people that care about her, she struggles with herself, and she struggles with God.
I loved it from beginning to end.
One of the best books I’ve read in awhile.
Full of romance and drama and, in my opinion, a little suspense.
The second book I read is Bed of Roses by Nora Roberts. This is book two of The Bride Quartet series. The ‘quartet’ refers to a group of ladies, who have grown up together, and, now, own a booming business that revolves around weddings in Connecticut. You have Parker–the planner, Laurel–the chef, Mac–the photographer, and Emma–the florist. Emma is the main focus of this book. She has always been skilled when it comes to men, she can quickly win them over or, if they’re not her type, pass them on to a friend without their being any hostility. The woman is a genius! She wants to find Mr.Right, but always seems to date Mr.Wrong, looking everywhere but right under her nose. This book is witty, romantic, and heart-wrenching. I loved it and wouldn’t mind adding it to my own library. Nora Roberts has a way of pulling the reader in, making them completely engrossed in the book, which explains why she is known as a New York Times bestselling author.
It’s actually quite an inspiring book, in regards to my business.
Definitely took some notes!
So there you have it. This week’s review of two great reads. Can’t wait til the next one! Once again, feel welcomed to pass along your recommendations.
Until next time…………love & blessings.
